The California Grill is on the top floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort hotel, and we had a fantastic meal, top ten all time for me and maybe top five. Well-constructed cheese board with five cheese-x pairings (x being honeycomb, candied almonds, etc.), fantastic wines, especially a Turley “Dusi” Zinfandel that was rich, deep, complex, delicious (thank you, fabulous sommelier!). Entrees were all good but the best dish was an amuse bouche of braised pork cheeks, incredible. Plus a swell view of the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom. I can’t even write coherently about it, too good.
